CEM Constitution        CEM Job Descriptions

Church Education Ministries is the ministry of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church primarily devoted to equipping the church for its mission to reach the world. The IPHC takes seriously the Lord's command to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:16-20), and Church Education Ministries is an integral part of God's plan for accomplishing this task (Matthew 16:18).

Since Church Education Ministries' primary purpose is an equipping ministry, its purpose is to prepare the body of Christ for the work of ministry in the local church and in its responsibility to reach the world with the gospel (Ephesians 4. The local church, through CEM, is a continuation of the teaching ministry of Jesus Christ. It is Christ-Centered, Bible based, Holy Spirit inspired, and though concerned with each individual, family-focused. We recognize that families include the extended, traditional, single-parent, and blended families. Ministries are provided for all ages and genders from cradle roll through senior adults. All people, regardless of race or culture, are welcome and encouraged to attend the International Pentecostal Holiness Church.

The goals of Church Education Ministries are carried out through a regular and consistent emphasis in the following areas:

(1) Worship - Church Education Ministries brings each individual into a mature and submissive worship of the living God. This should include both private and corporate worship.

(2) Bible Teaching - Since Bible study is essential to Christian maturity, Church Education offers a regular, systematic teaching of God's Word that is easily comprehended and relevant to each life.

(3) Fellowship - Church Education Ministries develops a deep and meaningful inter-personal relationship among believers, which is real, honest, trusting, loving and supportive.

(4) Practical Service - Church Education Ministries encourages believers to use their gifts to minister to both believers and non-believers.

(5) Evangelism - Church Education Ministries equips a believer to share his faith in Jesus Christ in a vibrant, genuine and intelligent manner.
